Convert a Markdown Table to Plain Text in Chrome

Avoid damaging useful content
Do not remove every punctuation mark automatically. Pipes may be part of a value, and a hyphen can be meaningful in an identifier. Clean the table structure first, then make targeted changes to the content. If the source contains code, URLs or configuration values, preserve their exact spelling and compare a few rows after each transformation.
