Who we are

Wendygo Studio is an independent software publisher based in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. We build browser extensions for productivity and content creation. Contact: wendygostudio@gmail.com.

Extension data we collect

None. Our extensions (TextForge, FrameForge, ScrubForge, ClaimForge, ConvertForge and SlimeForge) process their core data entirely within your browser. No text, images, files, configurations, claims data, pet save data, or personal information is sent to any server controlled by us, collected, stored, or shared. The website itself uses a separate, cookie-less analytics service described below.

Local storage

Our extensions use your browser's local storage (localStorage, chrome.storage.local or chrome.storage.session) to save your preferences (language, theme), custom dictionaries, saved recipes, claim records, your SlimeForge pet's save data, free trial state, and, if you activate a paid license, your license key. ScrubForge also stores the API keys you provide for third-party AI providers (see "AI provider connections" below). All of this data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

Free trial

Each extension includes an automatic 5-day free trial of the PRO tier. The trial requires no account, no card and no personal data: it is tracked entirely on the device using the extension's local storage. When the trial expires, PRO features pause and the free tier continues to work; nothing is transmitted to Wendygo and nothing is deleted.

License validation

If you purchase a paid license, the extension contacts our payment provider's API to validate your license key. This request contains only your license key and an instance identifier — no personal data, no browsing history, no content from the extension. Our payment provider and Merchant of Record is Creem (creem.io); its own privacy policy governs the purchase transaction. Network access to api.creem.io is an optional permission: the extension only requests it when you click Activate, and never contacts the API otherwise. Some earlier TextForge and FrameForge purchases were processed by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com); those transactions remain governed by Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy.

On-device AI (Gemini Nano)

TextForge (AI Composer), ClaimForge (letter drafting) and SlimeForge (pet chatter) can use Gemini Nano, the local AI model built into Chrome (Prompt API). The model runs entirely on your device: your prompts and content are processed locally by Chrome and are never sent to us or to any server by our extensions. Availability of Gemini Nano depends on your version of Chrome and your hardware.

AI provider connections (ScrubForge only)

ScrubForge uses a "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK) model. When you provide an API key for a third-party AI provider (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Groq, or Mistral), the extension sends your sanitized configuration data directly from your browser to that provider's API. The original, unsanitized data never leaves your browser. We do not proxy, intercept, log, or store any of these API calls. Your relationship with the AI provider is governed by their terms and privacy policy. You can remove your API key at any time from the extension settings.

Content scripts and page access

SlimeForge can display your pet walking across the web pages you visit. This is optional and controlled by you: the extension requests access to pages only when you enable the feature. The pet is rendered locally on top of the page; the extension may read the page title locally to give the pet conversational context, but no page content, browsing history or titles are ever collected or transmitted. Our other extensions do not inject scripts into web pages or read your browsing activity.

Analytics and tracking

Our extensions contain no analytics, tracking pixels, cookies, or telemetry of any kind. This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookie-less measurement tool that collects only aggregate, anonymized visit metrics — no personal data, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting.

Permissions

Each extension requests the minimum permissions it needs. TextForge, FrameForge, ClaimForge and ConvertForge work within their own interface with no access to your tabs. ScrubForge requests the storage permission to persist your preferences, API keys, and custom dictionary locally. SlimeForge requests storage and alarms (pomodoro timers and pet care run on schedules), plus scripting/activeTab and an optional site-access permission that is only used if you enable the pet on web pages. All six extensions declare api.creem.io as an optional host permission requested only when you click Activate to validate a purchased license.

Children's privacy

Our extensions are general-purpose tools and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Any change to the website measurement described above will be included in the update.
