By installing or using any browser extension published by Wendygo Studio ("we", "us"), including TextForge, FrameForge, ScrubForge, ClaimForge, ConvertForge and SlimeForge (collectively, "the Extensions"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the extension.
The Extensions are browser-based productivity tools that process data locally on your device. They do not require an account and do not transmit your data to us. ScrubForge may send sanitized (anonymized) data to third-party AI providers at your explicit request, using your own API key (BYOK model); your original unsanitized data never leaves your browser. TextForge, ClaimForge and SlimeForge may use Gemini Nano, Chrome's built-in on-device AI, which runs entirely locally. Detailed functionality is described on each extension's store listing.
Each Extension offers a free tier with core functionality and optional paid tiers with additional features. The free tier may be used indefinitely at no cost. Each Extension also includes an automatic 5-day free trial of the PRO tier, starting on first use, with no card or account required. When the trial ends, PRO features pause and the free tier continues to work; no user data is deleted. Paid tiers are unlocked by purchasing a license key through our payment provider.
Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Creem (creem.io), which handles billing, invoicing, VAT/tax collection, and refund processing. Some earlier TextForge and FrameForge purchases were processed by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com) as Merchant of Record; those purchases remain valid and governed by the terms in force at the time of purchase. Refund requests should be directed to wendygostudio@gmail.com; we will process reasonable refund requests in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
ScrubForge operates on a "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK) model. You provide your own API key for the AI provider of your choice. Any costs incurred with that AI provider are your responsibility and are governed by the provider's own terms. Wendygo Studio does not charge for AI usage, does not proxy API calls, and is not responsible for the availability, pricing, or conduct of third-party AI providers. Features based on Gemini Nano (TextForge AI Composer, ClaimForge letter drafting, SlimeForge pet chatter) depend on Chrome's built-in on-device model, whose availability is determined by Google and by your hardware; these features are provided on a best-effort basis and their absence does not constitute a defect of the Extensions.
SlimeForge contains virtual items and currency ("Embers", eggs, creatures, cosmetics and similar). These have no monetary value, cannot be purchased with or exchanged for real money, and exist solely as gameplay elements earned through use. Real money never purchases randomized content. We may adjust game balance (earning rates, costs, features) in updates. Virtual items are part of your local save data and are stored only on your device; we cannot restore save data that is lost, deleted or corrupted on your device, though the Extensions provide local export/import tools you can use for backups.
ClaimForge provides general information about EU consumer protection law and tools to help you draft and track claims. It does not provide legal advice, does not create a lawyer-client relationship, and is not a substitute for a qualified legal professional. Laws change and individual situations vary; you are responsible for verifying any information before relying on it.
A PRO license key may be activated on up to three (3) devices simultaneously. License keys are personal and non-transferable. We reserve the right to deactivate keys that are shared publicly or used in violation of these terms.
The Extensions, including their source code, design, icons, creature designs and documentation, are the property of Wendygo Studio and are protected by copyright. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the Extensions or any part of them.
Any text, images, files, or data you process through the Extensions remains entirely yours. We do not access, collect, or claim any rights over your content. All processing happens locally on your device.
The Extensions are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from the use of the Extensions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wendygo Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Extensions. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the PRO license.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Extensions after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory rights you have under EU or Spanish consumer protection law.
